The hall is lined with old quarter-sawn oak, 6’ wainscotting, pocket doors, and period wallpaper leading up to the carpet-lined staircase. You’ll pass the 1919 telephone and the stained glass windows on the way upstairs to your room.

The dining room has its original wallpaper, beautiful patterned ceilings with fancy hand-painted cornices and light fittings. Look out for the cheeky cherub lamp behind the velvet curtains and carved fish over the doorway.
Next to the imposing entry hall, the living room has striking wallpaper, a box-beamed ceiling and copies of the original Thomas Edison lightbulbs.
Enjoy a cup of tea in the light and airy solarium or check your email on the guest computer. With lush potted plants, books and magazines, it’s a lovely place to relax and gaze out on the garden.
The perfect place to relax in front of the fireplace with a good book from the library, or get lost in the detailed hand-painted frieze, a continuous scene, of London’s Hyde Park that has graced the top of the walls since the house was built.
In summer enjoy a cup of tea or glass of wine amongst a profusion of fresh growth and colourful flowers, while listening to the tranquil waterfalls. In the evening, the garden is lit up with hundreds of twinkling lights. In winter the garden provides a dramatic outlook on downtown Calgary.
