The hall is lined with old quarter-sawn oak, 6’ wainscotting, pocket doors, and period wallpaper leading up to the carpet-lined staircase. You’ll pass the 1919 telephone and the stained glass windows on the way upstairs to your room. <a href="http://www.twingables.ca/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/P00023341-e1295384564165.jpg" target="_top">Dining Room</a> The dining room has its original wallpaper, beautiful patterned ceilings with fancy hand-painted cornices and light fittings. Look out for the cheeky cherub lamp behind the velvet curtains and carved fish over the doorway. <a href="http://www.twingables.ca/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/LivingRoom1-e1295384603633.jpg" target="_top">The Living Room</a> Next to the imposing entry hall, the living room has striking wallpaper, a box-beamed ceiling and copies of the original Thomas Edison lightbulbs. <a href="http://www.twingables.ca/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/solarium12.jpg" target="_top">The Solarium</a> Enjoy a cup of tea in the light and airy solarium or check your email on the guest computer.
