The Calgary Exhibition & Stampede is a volunteer-supported, not-for-profit organization that preserves and promotes Western heritage and values. Our organization began as an agricultural fair in 1886, but has always grown in step with our community. Today, the Calgary Exhibition and Stampede contributes to the quality of life in Calgary and Southern Alberta through our world-renowned 10-day Calgary Stampede, year-round agricultural events and activities, on-going youth programs and Western Canada’s premier exhibition facilities.
All revenue earned by the Stampede is reinvested into programs and facilities to create unequalled social and economic value for Calgary and Southern Alberta. The Calgary Exhibition & Stampede leases Stampede Park from the City of Calgary. We are dedicated to managing and protecting this historic site on behalf of all Calgarians, so revenue is also used for improvements and additions to the Park and its facilities.
